The age bracket is set at 20 to 25 years as of 1 August 2025, with statutory age relaxations for SC/ST, OBC, and other reserved categories. Applicants are also required to meet stringent physical measurements (height, chest) and medical standards prescribed by each CAPF cadre, ensuring the physical readiness to undertake demanding duties.
Selection Process & Exam Date
Recruitment unfolds in three stages:
- Written Examination – Paper I (General Ability & Intelligence) and Paper II (General Studies, Essay & Comprehension).
- Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Test (PST/PET) – Measuring endurance, speed, and strength.
- Interview/Personality Test – Assessing leadership qualities, decision-making, and integrity.
